The 3Ccar project aimed to provide highly integrated ECS Components for Complexity Control in affordable electrified cars. The new semiconductors for Complexity management (Control, reduction) were expected to offer the next level of energy efficiency in transportation systems.
3Ccar’s impact maximized a pragmatic strategy: Using semiconductor technology innovations to manage the increase in functionality & complexity. This also led to cheaper, efficient, robust, comfortable, reliable, and usable automotive systems.
One of the most anticipated results of the ‘3CCar’ European project was the development of an electronic embedded system to perform the sensorless temperature measurement of a Li-ion cell, through the electrochemical impedance estimation.
